Your interests come first

We have no ties to any bank, finance company, insurance company, fund manager or other financial institution. Where possible we prefer to work for fees and give any commissions back to clients. This minimises conflicts of interest, so you can know that our advice is designed only with you in mind.

We are professionals

Our advisers must belong to the Institute of Financial Advisers (www.ifa.org.nz) and must be or be supervised by Certified Financial PlannerCM practitioners. This means we have to meet international standards (www.fpsb.org) for ethics and practice, so you can be confident of getting professional advice.

We provide comprehensive advice

Good advice on one part of your finances may not be good overall advice. We consider all known aspects of your finances and life goals. A change in one area (your future plans, family issues, tax or other law …) can impact on a number of other parts of your financial plan. Our approach minimises the risk of unintended consequences.

We work as a team

Hassan & Associates advisers work together on each client, so you get the benefit of our pooled knowledge, skill and experience. We also consult with financial advisers in a range of other firms to further improve the benefits for clients. Where possible we also work with our clients’ accountants, lawyers and other advisers to make sure all aspects are considered and to minimise costs and delays.
